This was another surprise at the Descanso Gardens.
Winter just started and these lovely paperwhite narcissuses (is that a word???) just brazenly pop out to say “March is a few months away!” — and BOO to winter.
Still, their creamy white petals, emerald stems, and saffron pollen seduced me into pulling out my camera.
Specs of soil thrown in their faces from the recent thunderstorm only made them the more charming.
