Yesterday I was drawn to a shadow and object which reminded me of Carl Theodor Dreyer’s Vampyr (1932), which I find terrifying, dreamlike, and incredibly atmospheric.
It’s one of the movies I’ve seen in the last three years that keeps sticking in my head. I relate to its style and manner of storytelling very much.
