So, with the (delayed) fourth installment of Abbandonata, I am going to be taking a little pause. This, to start a journey into analog: learn to develop my own film (black and white), for both stills and moving images (Lomokino), and to alter that film physically (drawing on it via scratching and anything else). Once I have gone through this learning phase, I will do the next episode of Abbandonata with a combined analog and digital work. Very excited to learn and move forward with these studies, to integrate my background of physically influenced work (painting, drawing, etc) with the more “one step removed” experience of the camera.
