Starting, for a reason separate from my own project work, to put titles, credits, and associated text on episodes of Abbandonata.
Thinking about different segments of the project, specifically Fragments, and how to integrate them more deeply into the story. Thinking about making this entirely a video project, but producing prints from selected stills for something bound and tangible. Also thinking about using aspects of this project to develop new ones, inspired by it, but not necessarily directly related. Thinking about how this project contains seeds for themes which are continuously fascinating for me – without overanalyzing what those themes are, however.
As I think about these things, I imagine that I am cultivating a garden for visitors, which they cannot see in its totality from any one path.
