I shoot in our underground transit system almost every day. It’s been a habit of mine for almost a year. Lately, I started combining some of these photos with some of my above ground photos of urban nature, mostly flowers. Since my street photo habit started on Instagram, I’ve been sharing many of these with people I already follow who do street photography.
Some of these works are quite amusing, but others have a more sombre feeling, for some reason. I’m very interested in this path because it seems to fit my subject matter, as incongruous as some of it is, so well. There are lots of possibilities for expression in it.
Lastly, because I have been asked for prints of these through my online community, I’ve made them available as postcards here.
