I created a Flickr account when I first started doing street photography. Lately, what I post there is more like anything goes. There are a lot of good photographers on Flickr who for example, cross-post to Tumblr, another site where I’ve found outstanding work. However while I find it very efficient for uploading work, with a pretty clear template for metadata, it feels a bit like an Ikea warehouse (massive and inhospitable). Nevertheless, because some fellow artists I know tend to post there most (everyone has their preferred site on social media – in the end your community replicated a country, people end up living in different states), I keep my account there and post occasionally.
